Emergency Lighting

Shop LED emergency lighting at Vertex Supplies for compliant escape route illumination. We stock fittings, bulkheads and exit signs for offices, warehouses, retail units and stairwells, covering commercial and residential use. Fast UK delivery.

Check three points when choosing emergency lighting. First, the duty type your building needs: maintained fittings stay lit permanently, and non-maintained units activate only on mains failure. Second, the battery duration for your escape routes, typically 1 to 3 hours. Third, lumen output against room size, so escape paths stay clearly lit in an outage. Cool white 6500K light gives bright, daylight-style output against dark corridors and stairwells. Our current emergency light is a 5W LED fitting with cool white 6500K output, and its self-contained design suits the duty most commercial premises need in an escape-route lighting plan under BS 5266 guidance.
