Electric Cables
Shop electric and data cables at Vertex Supplies. We stock 100% copper CAT6 and CAT5E cable on 305m outdoor rolls, and Rother CAT6 UTP and SFTP cable. For CCTV we stock BNC HD and BNC+DC combined cables in 5m, 10m and 20m lengths for camera power-and-video runs. We also stock RG59+2DC shotgun cable on 100m rolls for analogue CCTV installs, and electrical insulation tape in black, red, blue and yellow-green.
The right cable depends on the job. Use outdoor-jacketed CAT6 or CAT5E copper cable for permanent external network runs. Use shielded SFTP cable where interference is a concern. Use BNC+DC combined cable for the quickest analogue camera install, since power and video run through a single lead. Trade and retail quantities are available, from single cables to full 305m rolls. Fitting a CCTV system with these cables? See our full CCTV Accessories range for the connectors and junction boxes to finish the job.
